We are committed to our community and Pink Heals ensures that all funds raised help those battling illness and are in need locally. Sometimes a hug is all it takes. Oftentimes its financial support to help lift the burden of medical costs. The organization’s Pink Truck tour allows local volunteer fire and police, community leaders and volunteers change the lives of people in Chicagoland.
Not only will a portion of proceeds from all aluminum cans scrapped in October be donated but every year will have a trailer available outside our Joliet yard for cans to be dropped in, 100% donated to Pink Heals! Additionally, even if you don’t have aluminum cans and bring in other scrap, you will have an option to donate .50 cents of your sale to Pink Heals when you check out at the cashier!
